Aquatic Excercise
Water exercise is a fun, safe way to fitness. It is for male and female, swimmer or non swimmer. It is an opportunity for people of all ages to be physically active. Many participants who are unable to exercise on land can be comfortably active in water. Each group receives a wealth of benefits from the water. In water, you weigh 50-90% less than you do on land (depending on water depth), thereby easing the burden during physical exercise on weight bearing joints such as your hips, knees and back. Some choose it for overall toning effects, some for greater flexibility and increased energy, while others use the water as a form of physical therapy. Whatever the approach, water exercise adds another dimension to health with its ability to lower resting heart rate, blood pressure, and improve body composition. It is an asset to everyone. Participants work at their own pace and intensity. All equipment is provided during sessions.
